Furniture Delivery Helper
”Imagine a mobile app that helps you and your team deliver furniture to customers at their homes. Consider the experience of planning, delivering, installing, and dealing with any issues that arise and how they might be resolved.”

I approached this projected with the idea that the furniture store using this application had a warehouse in the town from which they send out inventory and that their priority was using their trucks and delivery crews more efficiently. Ideally the store would be able to offer customers the soonest possible delivery date with the lowest chance of odd delays or rescheduling needs. I wanted to develop an application that allowed sales reps, warehouse managers, delivery crews, and buyers to all get the most up to date info on where the furniture was in the moving process. Knowing that the delivery crew and warehouse most likely used tablets or smartphones instead of bulky laptops or desktops, I designed the first iterations for those devices.
